The checklist
Mesh is watertight and manifold (no holes, no self-intersections). Wall thickness meets printer minimums. No zero-thickness features. Scale set in real units. Orientation and support notes included. Test slice passes in a common slicer.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my "solid" model not watertight?
Coincident faces and duplicate vertices create hidden holes. A merge-by-distance pass usually fixes it.
